Likewise, in all of them, professional freight transporters may have access to cleaning and catering facilities and services, even if they are not accommodated.
In short, a set of measures at the national level, which are also becoming effective at the European level thanks to the measures proposed by the Spanish Government in the teleconference of EU transport ministers last week.
Health personnel can travel for free in Renfe
Ábalos has also announced that, to facilitate the movement of health personnel who must move between Spanish cities for work reasons and, especially, due to the Coronavirus, Renfe has provided that these people (doctors, nurses, ATS, laboratory personnel, etc.) free access to High Speed, Long Distance and Medium Distance and Avant trains.
The procedure to be followed will be to appear at the Service Centers of the stations, the Access Controls or, if the stations do not have these services, directly to the train controller, and they will be issued a free ticket. For this, they must be identified by the professional college card corresponding to their health specialty, the identification card of the Health Center where they provide their services or by means of a certificate issued by the medical assistance center to which they must go and motivate the displacement.
Air sector
In the air sector, Ábalos has acknowledged that "we are aware that mobility restrictions within and outside Spanish territory, as well as the closure of borders between many countries, are plunging the sector into unprecedented drops in operation."
For this reason, the minister has affirmed that "we have already taken measures that can be generally accepted, such as the line of guarantees on behalf of the state to guarantee liquidity and the flexibility of the mechanisms of temporary adjustment of activity to avoid layoffs "
Ábalos has announced that Aena has analyzed how to help alleviate the burden on airlines of having a large part of their fleet parked at the different airports in the network, so its Management Committee "has agreed to postpone the payment of the corresponding rates parking for a period of six months, without any financial cost, that is, without interest. "
In this sense, the minister has valued the effort of the companies of the Mitma Group, recalling the exemption from rent payments at Adif and Aena stations and airports while this situation lasts, the initiative Connected of Ineco in nursing homes, or the collaboration of Correos for the distribution of food to health personnel.
Regarding the reorganization of airport facilities, the minister reported that today the closure of T2 of the Josep Tarradellas Barcelona – El Prat airport is taking place. The entire operation will now be concentrated in T1, in zones A and D, with no operation in the so-called T1 sword, which will also remain closed. Regarding the concentration of the Adolfo Suárez Madrid – Barajas operation on T4, Aena continues to work with the airlines to carry out the transfer in the coming days.
Taxi sector
In reference to the taxi sector, which Ábalos has recognized as another of the sectors affected by mobility restrictions, the minister wanted to clarify that:

- And they are also entitled to the activity reduction benefit, proving a reduction of at least 75%, even though they are taxed by the objective estimation system.
In this sense, the minister has indicated that, given the allegations that have been made about the difficulty of justifying this reduction in activity, work is being done with the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration so that this justification contains greater flexibility and is sufficient some of the tests that can accredit it, such as the taximeter itself or any other source that allows it.
