Headlines:
- The President of the Government is proposing an authoritarian drift on three fronts: exaltation of the Executive Power, submission of the Judiciary and degradation of the Legislative Power.
EXALTATION OF EXECUTIVE POWER
- We attended a very serious authoritarian drive of concentration of power with a hypertrophied Council of Ministers consisting of 23 members plus a deputy prime minister, Mr. Redondo, who is the president's validity and concentrates an unprecedented power.
SUBMISSION OF JUDICIAL POWER
- The submission of the Judiciary by Sánchez has reached the maximum paroxysm with the appointment as Attorney General of the State of a socialist candidate and Minister of Justice, Mrs. Delgado.
- The degradation of the figure of the Attorney General has no other objective than to subject the Judiciary to the pacts and alliances of Mr. Sánchez with the separatist and coup forces that support his Government. If you think it's an impeccable appointment, come to the Chamber and explain it.
- Today we have read with embarrassment the praise of Torra and Puigdemont's lawyer for Mrs. Delgado. A convergence of praise, convergence of interests. It is a coalition against the rule of law.
- When the main enemies of the State praise who should protect it, it is that the State is not being protected but its adversaries.
- The Prosecutor's Office will play a key role in the coming months. We demand that you do not do like Mr. Sánchez, and protect and defend the rule of law. To the Central Electoral Board and not to Torra.
- Torra is a usurper of functions, a man who has no seat and, therefore, cannot be president of the Generalitat, according to the Statute of Catalonia itself. But Sánchez acts for the benefit of the separatists and to the detriment of constitutional Spain and the PSC has placed itself on the side of illegality.
- The PP will adopt an attitude of maximum strength and firmness in the defense of the rule of law.
- Today the Popular Group in the Parliament of Catalonia will present a letter for Torrent to convene an extraordinary Bureau to comply with what the JEC and the Provincial Electoral Board have said: that there is no legal president at this time in Catalonia.
- We will also immediately file a complaint for disobedience against Torrent and the Catalan Parliament. And for usurpation of functions against Torra.
DEGRADATION OF LEGISLATIVE POWER
- Changing the meeting of the Council of Ministers to Tuesdays only seeks to overshadow the work of control and promotion of legislative initiatives of the different parliamentary groups.
- Today we have submitted a letter requesting that the work of the Chamber be reordered in defense of the rights of all political groups.
- There has to be a controlled government. The Executive cannot be outside the legislative control.
- We propose that the meeting of the Bureau and the Board of Spokesmen be held on Mondays; that there are commissions on Mondays and Tuesdays, and that the legislative initiatives of the Government are discussed on Wednesday mornings. The government control session would be Wednesday afternoon and opposition initiatives would be discussed on Thursday.
