Antonio Llardén, executive president of Enagás, and Marco Alverà, CEO of Snam, yesterday received the 2019 Tiepolo Award, from the CEOs, Antonio Garamendi and the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Spain (CCIS), Marco Pizzi This award recognizes the trajectory of successful entrepreneurs in Spain and Italy and their contribution to the strengthening of economic and commercial relations between both countries. The Ambassador of Italy, Stefano Sannino, also participated in the delivery ceremony; the Secretary of State for Energy, José Domínguez Abascal; the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida; and the counselor of the Presidency of the Community of Madrid, Eugenia Carballedo.
The organizers of the Prize have wanted to recognize in Antonio Llardén, executive president of Enagás and in Marco Alverà, CEO of Snam, the success trajectory of two personalities who, with their efforts, have contributed to strengthen the economic relations between Spain and Italy, promote collaboration between both countries in international markets and spread a highly competitive image of the Spanish and Italian production systems in the world.
The CEOE CEO, Antonio Garamendi, presented the Enagás executive president award, Antonio Llardén, and highlighted the joint collaboration in operations of great strategic relevance, such as the construction of the TAP (Trans Adriatic Pipeline), a key project for the integration of the market of European gas, or the Greek gas operator, DESFA.
