The acting Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, has signed the new Order that will regulate the declaration of National and International Tourist Interest Festivities, which includes the use of new resources provided by technologies, both in the registry and Processing of applications as in their content.
Thus, when granting this honorary title, the new regulations will take into account, among other aspects, the appearance in search engines of the party in question, its presence in social networks and its web positioning.
The approved Order replaces Order ITC / 1763/2006, of May 3, which so far governed these distinctions. Although, the files of declaration initiated before the entry into force of this Order will be governed by the previous regulations.
On the other hand, all the holidays currently declared of National or International Tourist Interest will continue to be beneficiaries of said declaration.
