Agents of the Traffic Sector of the Civil Guard in La Rioja, have arrested a 42-year-old man, as the alleged perpetrator of three crimes against road safety and one crime of injuries. The victims of the run over are two men and a woman of 20, 23 and 28 years old.
The detainee's sister, after learning of the facts, appeared at the Civil Guard offices to accuse herself of the multiple abuse, for which she was heard in a statement as an investigated person.
The event
Around 7:40 p.m. yesterday at the Civil Guard Service Center in La Rioja (062), several calls were received warning of a multiple outrage on the “La Plana” Road in the town of Villamediana de Iregua (La Rioja), in which three people had been injured and taken to the Hospital.
The Citizen Security Units, a Team of Attempts and the Traffic Investigation and Analysis Group (GIAT) move to the place, the agents proceeding to collect all the information provided by the witnesses, which allows the location of the vehicle that caused the accident. and the full identification of its driver, who is located and detained within hours of the event, repeatedly refusing to carry out the mandatory alcohol and drug tests.
