The president of Cs affirms that 'it is not a question of changing the corruption of 3% for that of bipartisanship, but of having a government that fights against corruption as Cs will do in Catalonia'
"After so much‘ procés ’, pandemic and populist government in Barcelona, it’s time to lift the tourism sector." This was said by the president of Ciudadanos (Cs), Inés Arrimadas, at the event on the tourism sector where the vice president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juan Marín, the candidate number 2 of Cs for Barcelona, Anna Grau, and the president of the Cs group at Barcelona City Council, Luz Guilarte. Arrimadas has affirmed if the candidate of Cs, Carlos Carrizosa, governs in Catalonia "measures will be taken to attract companies, eliminate bureaucracy and lower taxes, the opposite of what the separatist governments and Ada Colau's have done." He also explained that the orange proposals include "a € 500 tourist bonus for families to travel through Catalonia and eliminate the tourist tax during the pandemic months."
The orange president has pointed out that in the next elections "it is not a question of changing the corruption of 3% by that of the bipartisanship of PP and PSC, but of having a government that fights against corruption as Cs will do in Catalonia." Arrimadas recalled that "today the Bárcenas case that affects the PP has been reactivated, we have the president of the PSC, Nuria Marín, and the candidate of Junts, Laura Borrás, accused of corruption and ERC implicated in the Voloh case" by alleged illegal financing for the 'procés'.
For this reason, Arrimadas has pointed out that in Catalonia “there is money to help the sectors most affected by the pandemic” but that it is currently going “plugged in, the Catalan NASA or having the highest salaries of high positions in Spain” . He has remarked that Catalonia needs a new government led by the orange candidate, Carlos Carrizosa, so that it has “legal security and has clean hands of corruption to start a new stage” because “changing nationalist corruption is not going to be a change for the corruption of bipartisanship ”.
On the other hand, the Andalusian vice president, Juan Marín, explained that "we must definitely bet on the tourism sector, although some do not like it because it is an economic engine capable of mobilizing 13% of GDP" and has explained the different initiatives that Cs has taken in Andalusia to help this sector during the pandemic.
