The president of Cs announces a contingency plan for the Catalan self-employed
Catalonia needs a Government “that cares more for those who are being ruined than for the leaders of the 'procés'”, affirmed the president of Ciudadanos (Cs), Inés Arrimadas, after knowing the decision of the Supreme Court (TS) to revoke the third degree to the imprisoned independence leaders. "It is good that the Generalitat thinks more about Junqueras than about those who are ruined every day because the crisis is crushing them," he said.
Arrimadas, who has visited shops and markets in the Nou Barris district of Barcelona, together with the spokesperson for Cs in the Parliament of Catalonia and the Senate, Lorena Roldán, and the president of the group of Cs in the Barcelona city council, Luz Guilarte , has announced a contingency plan for the Catalan self-employed. The plan provides for aid of 2,000 euros for businesses that have seen their activity reduced by 50% and, in order to pay rents, 1,200 euros for those who have seen their activity interrupted and 4,000 euros for those who have seen it suspended. "The Generalitat must help the self-employed and stop creating beach bars and thinking so much about the 'procés'" he assured.
The orange leader has stated that Catalonia needs a Government "that will raise the economy again and that will unite all Catalans again." "This project to raise Catalonia is the objective of Ciudadanos" in the next elections he said and added that "Catalonia deserves to turn the page of 'procés' and start a new stage of job creation, unity and future and prosperity" .
