The spokeswoman for Cs in Congress delivers a document with four points to a constitutionalist agreement to the president of the Government
The president and spokesperson of the Parliamentary Group Citizens (GPCs), Inés Arrimadas, has assured that “the‘ track 221 ’proposed by Ciudadanos (Cs) gives stability to the entire legislature” with the seats of the liberal party, the PSOE and the PP. “I have asked Sánchez to think about the stability of Spain and in the next four years, not only to save the endowment ballot,” said Arrimadas, after stating that he never gives up “and never stops” from fighting "For achieving a constitutionalist government.
"Pedro Sánchez will make sure history, but the question is whether he will do it for good with 'via 221' or for worse with populists and nationalists," said the spokeswoman of the GPCs after meeting in Congress for more than an hour with the President of the acting Government. "I do not want a government of insomnia and before that government with populists and nationalists we cannot give support," Arrimadas made clear to Sánchez.
The spokeswoman for the CPG has handed Sánchez a document with "four very basic conditions for a constitutionalist agreement": all agreements must be closed between constitutionalist groups; National Pact for Education; not to make the crisis fall on the working middle class and not raise taxes; and reform of the Electoral Law that establishes a minimum percentage to enter the Congress. "In Brussels we have agreed to leave out populists and nationalists," said Arrimadas, who has asked Sánchez to "do the same in Spain and open that door."
The parliamentary spokeswoman of Cs also recalled that Podemos and the nationalists use the same terms and have the same ideas about Catalonia, since they agree to talk about político political conflict ’and‘ political prisoners ’and ask for a referendum.
