The candidate for the presidency of Cs, Carlos Carrizosa, has criticized "the same ERC that has agreed with the PSC" and that "is accompanied by convicted terrorists."

"On 14F you have to choose between the house of horrors that Otegi likes, that of the tripartite ERC, PSC and Podemos or the house of all Catalans with a constitutionalist government for the first time." This was said by the president of Ciudadanos (Cs), Inés Arrimadas, at the meeting for freedom held in Girona together with the candidate of Cs for the presidency of the Generalitat, Carlos Carrizosa, the party's MEP, Jordi Cañas, and the head from list by Girona, Jean Castel. Arrimadas has assured that Catalonia has "40 years of nationalist governments, including the tripartite of Montilla" and asks not to change them for "a tripartite of Illa with ERC, which is what Otegi wants" who is here "defending the partner of Illa and Sánchez ”.

The president of Cs has defended that it is time to “stop talking about stelades and start talking about payroll, to stop talking about prisoners of the 'procés' and talk about freelancers and families” and “to stop having the streets full of ties and have them full of opportunities ”. Arrimadas stressed that his party has shown that it knows how to govern as in Andalusia where "it seemed impossible to get the PSOE out" and has defended "a better future" in Catalonia "where they do not ask you who you vote for and do not call you a façade for not being an independentista ”.

For his part, the candidate of Cs for the presidency of the Generalitat, Carlos Carrizosa, has criticized "the same ERC that has agreed with the PSC" and that "is accompanied by convicted terrorists", referring to Arnaldo Otegi. "How can there be normality, when we have heard boos and insults and the enemies of freedom are received with applause," he said. Carrizosa has also insisted that "those who have been unequivocally constitutionalists, have defended freedom, and have denounced the excesses of nationalism, we are Citizens" and "we have been very lonely" he lamented.

Finally, the MEP, Jordi Cañas, explained that the orange party has been "defending freedom for 15 years" and that it is not "going to ask for permission or give explanations" for this. Cañas has claimed freedom and has assured that "we are not going to let the PSC hand it over in exchange for power" to become "a president at the service of the enemies of freedom."
