The deputy spokesman for Cs in Congress defends the need for "a consensus between the Government, the opposition and the social agents to flee sectarianism for the development of some PGE"

"We will send a letter to the European liberal leaders to support the candidacy of Nadia Calviño to preside over the Eurogroup because it is good that there is a Spanish woman at the forefront," announced the deputy spokesman for Citizens (Cs) in Congress, Edmundo Bal, at a conference press release after the meeting of the Standing Committee on liberal education.

The deputy spokesman for Cs in Congress has explained that this letter will be addressed to "seven countries of the European Union where there are liberal leaders." Specifically to the Netherlands, France, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Croatia, Ireland and Luxembourg. The Standing Committee of the liberal party has adopted this decision because "we believe it is essential because it is a time of crisis where the European Union is going to have to undertake a series of economic reforms," he said.

Edmundo Bal has defended that "Cs is going to see to it that conservatives, social democrats and liberals go together to achieve the best for Spain." Likewise, the member of the Standing Committee of the liberal party has called for a "consensus between the Government, the opposition and the social agents to flee sectarianism" for the preparation of some General State Budgets since they will be conditioned on European aid and it is of the "most important budgets in the democratic history of Spain," he said. For this reason, the deputy spokesman for Cs in Congress has assured that in their training "they will roll up their sleeves to make useful proposals that solve the problems of the Spanish."

In allusion to the outbreaks located in the province of Huesca, Bal has highlighted the need for Plan B, which has always been defended by Cs so that "the fight against the virus can be undertaken without having to declare a state of alarm," he said. “In this sense, the request that we have made from Cs is framed regarding the development of an app for mobile phones that allows the virus to be traced absolutely essential at this time. It is something that other countries in our environment such as Germany already do ”, he explained.

The liberal deputy has referred to the processing of the Draft Law correlative to the Royal Decree Law of Justice that will be launched in Congress and that defends the authorization of the month of August in the courts. "The position of Cs is contrary," he assured. "We are going to continue fighting for this measure because we believe that it does not make sense for August to be enabled for conducting face-to-face or telematic hearings since this measure does not resolve the Justice plug after Covid-19," he added.

In another order, Bal has vindicated the role of Spain in world history and has shown his concern for the images that have been seen in recent days where "statues of Spanish characters have been demolished without any justification." For this reason, Cs has presented a non-law proposal to require the Government three measures to "protect Spanish monuments and statues around the world through Embassies, so that the history of Spain is spread through Spanish cultural action and the creation of a strategy for the future that defends the history of our country as it really happened, "he concluded.
