The president of CEOE Internacional, Marta Blanco, has participated in the bilateral round table between Spain and Turkey on female entrepreneurship to discuss the presence of women in commerce and how to continue promoting their participation in the international context.

The event, an initiative of the Government of Turkey in collaboration with the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board – DEIK, was held within the framework of the Turkey-Spain Business Meeting that is being held this week.

During her speech, Marta Blanco highlighted the work being carried out by CEOE in this area, both nationally, with the PROGRESA and PROMOCIONA programs, and in the international context, with the participation of CEOE in forums such as the Council of B20 Women's Action or the G20 private sector alliance EMPOWER.

On this occasion, Marta Blanco highlighted the proliferation of spaces to discuss the role of women in the economic world, not only in the field of internationalization, but in a context of general awareness. He highlighted the need to identify the starting point or state of affairs of women in the business world in the different economies, in order to define a clear roadmap on which to work. In this sense, it is essential to share the lessons and experiences learned in each of our countries, allowing us to identify recommendations and steps to follow.
