Campo asks the prosecutors associations for their contributions to the roadmap for the exit of the crisis from COVID-19

The Minister of Justice, Juan Carlos Campo, has informed them, during a videoconference meeting, of the Executive's plans for the reactivation of Justice after the COVID-19 crisis and has invited them to submit their regulatory proposals to the Ministry, organizational and technological to study its inclusion in the roadmap to face the way out of the crisis of COVID-19 agreed with the different administrations and competent bodies in Justice and the representatives of the different groups.

During the meeting, Campo explained to the associations that the general objective pursued by this strategy must be twofold. On the one hand, guarantee the health of all the officials and professionals who provide their services in courts and tribunals, as well as the citizens who must go to them every day by distributing the necessary protective measures to avoid new infections. Lastly, the minister recalled that, within a period not exceeding two weeks after the lifting of the state of alarm, the Council of Ministers must approve shock plans for the Social and Contentious-Administrative jurisdictions, as well as for the courts of the Mercantil, the areas in which a greater influx of issues is expected.
