The Minister of Health, Consumer Affairs and Social Welfare, María Luisa Carcedo, has visited the University Hospital of Cáceres, where she highlighted the value of innovative health centers in the consolidation of a National system of health Universal and quality.
Carcedo recalled that the merger between the various branches of engineering with medicine "has reported numerous diagnostic and therapeutic advances to the National Health System, in improving health and in the treatment of diseases."
The University Hospital of Cáceres It opened its doors on January 31 and stands out for having the latest technology in the field of imaging, with magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, X-rays, ultrasound and mammography.
The acting minister has visited the radiology service, which she has referred to as "a leading service", of quality and accessible to the entire population as it is integrated into the Extremadura Health Service.
María Luisa Carcedo has also visited the Jesús Usón Minimally Invasive Surgery Center, dedicated to research, training and innovation.
