The candidate of Cs to the Generalitat points out that the minister and socialist candidate, Salvador Illa "is seriously breaching his duty" and proposes a national plan for vaccination

"It cannot be that the part-time minister of health does not take responsibility for how the vaccination campaign is going." This has been said by the head of the opposition and Citizen (Cs) candidate for the presidency of the Generalitat, Carlos Carrizosa, when addressing the media after visiting the Fira de Reis on Gran Via in Barcelona. Carrizosa has pointed out that the Minister of Health and candidate of the PSC, Salvador Illa, "has hung the sign of 'closed for campaign in the ministry" and has affirmed that "a minister of health cannot work part-time in the middle of the third wave" .

Carrizosa has pointed out that Illa "is seriously breaching its duty" and has regretted that the government of Spain "points to the good" when the vaccines are delivered, "but then hides behind the disastrous management of the Autonomous Communities" (CCAA ) when vaccination is slower than planned. "Illa should stop being Minister of Health", he has sentenced and added that "it cannot be admitted that he is not working full time for the management of the pandemic and taking charge of the failure of vaccination." "It should be in charge of national health and not to solve the problems of the PSC," he added.

On the other hand, the orange candidate has explained a national plan for vaccination proposed by Cs that consists of a political truce, coordination between the CCAA and a national vaccination registry. "It is essential that the Communities coordinate with the government, whoever is there, so that the rate of vaccination accelerates," he explained and added that "common strategies have to be made to reverse this disaster" and that "they are put in common the data of vaccinated people ”from all over Spain.
