The head of the opposition asks that in the next elections "the‘ procés ’be put to an end and there be a new government" to raise the economy and that the Catalans have a prosperous life.

"It is time for the City Councils and the Generalitat to help the sectors related to tourism and hospitality so that they can go back". This has been said by the head of the opposition and president of the Citizens (Cs) group in the Parliament, Carlos Carrizosa, during his visit to Salou and Cambrils, together with positions of the orange party in these municipalities, to find out the situation of merchants, hoteliers and restaurateurs in the area. Carrizosa has pointed out that "it is very important to create non-refundable aid for businesses that have been forced to close" due to the restrictions imposed by the Government in order to "sustain the future of these areas as other European countries in the same situation have done" .

The head of the opposition regretted that the Government "continues without helping them" and recalled that other Autonomous Communities such as Madrid "have managed to bend the contagion curve without closing all the bars and restaurants." "We believe that the closure was made under not very objective and precise premises" Carrizosa pointed out and stressed that it is very important "to preserve the future" of these sectors linked to tourism because they are important for areas such as Salou or Cambrils.

Carrizosa has also asked that in the next elections "put an end to the‘ procés ’that impoverishes us" and has pointed out that now it is time to “rebuild Catalonia”. He stressed the need for a new government "to overcome the economy and for the Catalans to have a prosperous life" because "we cannot have a Government with the same names so that they can do the same things again."
