The head of the opposition in Catalonia assures that Sánchez must choose "among those who attempt against national sovereignty" or "the improvements of Cs for autonomous families"

This was said by the head of the opposition and president of the Citizens (Cs) group in the Parliament of Catalonia, Carlos Carrizosa, in a telematic 'Citizen Meeting' moderated by the president of the municipal group of Cs in the Barcelona city council, Luz Guilarte. Carrizosa has criticized the "disastrous health management" of the Catalan government and the measures it is taking as the latest extension of the 10-day closure of bars and restaurants that affects a sector that had made a "great effort to adapt its services to the pandemic ”.
The head of the opposition has ensured that the president of the government, Pedro Sánchez, must choose "among those who threaten national sovereignty" or "the improvements of Cs for autonomous families" if he wants to approve the General State Budgets (PGE). Carrizosa recalled that his party has economic ‘orange lines’ such as non-repayable aid for companies that have lowered their turnover. He has compared it with the help of 20 million euros for freelancers that the Government offered through a website that collapsed, while, with the orange proposal, "the Catalans would have 1,500 million euros." "One thing is a joke and the other is a help," he said.
Another insurmountable line for Carrizosa is "to respect national sovereignty" but "the Celáa law has excluded Spanish" in schools. Furthermore, the Sánchez government must have a "written commitment not to hold a secession referendum."
Finally, the president of Cs in Catalonia, has predicted that, in the next Catalan elections, "we will have to face two secessionist parties commanded by those who gave a blow to democracy" referring to Carles Puigdemont who "I hope he will appear before justice" , and Oriol Junqueras who "is in prison saying that he will do it again." For this reason, it proposes "a constitutionalist bloc" that "gives the definitive folder to the‘ procés ’" so that “the Catalan institutions stop being a weapon of independence”.
