"The PP will continue to be the brain, heart and lung of the right center"

The president of the Popular Party, Pablo Casado, has opted today for a Spain Plan for Catalonia that will recover “the concord of a modern and cosmopolitan land ruined by the process”.

During his speech at the ABC Forum, Casado has lamented the rupture of the basic consensus and has advocated "to disembark again in coexistence and end the contemporary black legend that the independentistas try to sculpt in barricades and burning containers."

Along these lines, the popular leader has proposed that, given the institutional vacuum that exists in Catalonia, act with the law in hand and has demanded that the PSOE break any agreement with the independentists in 40 municipalities and the Diputación de Barcelona.

Pablo Casado has claimed a new law of symbols that guarantees the presence of the flag of Spain throughout the territory and that coexists with the senyera in Catalonia, as well as a language law that makes Catalan a merit and not a requirement. He has also advocated a long-term institutional strengthening of civil society, culture, rectors, the media and NGOs that do not carry out the independence speech.

MULTIPARTIDISM AND INDEPENDENT CHALLENGE

In another order, the president of the PP, has attributed the political blur to the threat of economic crisis, "already recognized by the Government", the independence challenge in Catalonia and the emergence of multiparty that has brought the fragmentation of the vote, the succession of elections and the absence of governance at the national level.

In this line, Casado has said that "the PP will continue to be the brain, heart and lung of the right center, because our ideas, our heartbeat and oxygen have allowed us to avoid social and economic collapse in Spain twice."

Faced with the rupturist agenda of Pedro Sánchez, which is "synonymous with blockade and economic crisis", the popular leader has advanced that the PP prepares an "agenda for the new majority" that returns freedom to the Spanish with proposals for tax rebates, revaluation of pensions, single health card, freedom of education and health, market unit, maternity support and job creation.

SAFETY AND FACILITIES AGENDA FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

On the other hand, the popular leader has proposed a security program that benefits and favors coordination between the FCSE, the salary equalization and the defense of the reviewable permanent prison.

The president of the PP, has defended a “red carpet to motherhood” to end the demographic winter and give facilities to families, youth and women who want to be mothers. He has opted to facilitate the access of young people to housing, creating a public park of 100,000 homes for rent through public-private collaboration and a moratorium on evictions of families with children until 2023.

In addition, Casado has pledged to promote a “shock plan” of access to youth employment, with the exemption of the IRPF payment for young mileuristas, encourage entrepreneurship to create a company in five days, expand the flat rate for freelancers and a second chance law.

PP, A GOVERNMENT PARTY

The president of the popular has presented the PP as a government and state party that knows how to solve economic crises and boost the international agenda. "We want to govern for all, we are prepared and the Spaniards are urgently needed to be done," he stressed.

At this point he has asked if Pedro Sánchez, who has not been able to form a government with four alternatives and 123 seats, will be able to do so “when arithmetic is much more difficult”. He has also described the file opened by the Central Electoral Board to Pedro Sánchez as “very serious and unpublished”, and affirms that “whoever instrumentalizes public institutions and resources does not deserve to be victorious.

PLEBISCITE

Finally, Casado recalled that Sanchez has taken us to a second election and has planted them as a "plebiscite or a referendum" and has indicated that in the consultations "there is only one yes or no, there are no several alternatives".

"If we had to go to 10-N with a question and that question was, do you want Sánchez to continue to preside over the Government of Spain? I think there would be many more noes than yes," he said. “The only party that can capitalize on no Sanchez is the PP ”, he concluded.
