The Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Andalusia today welcomed the presentation of S-MOVING, Smart, Autonomous and Unmanned Vehicles Forum, an act that has had the assistance of professionals and entrepreneurs linked to the development of technologies applied to intelligent, autonomous, connected and sustainable mobility by land, sea and aerospace, with the aim of promoting the consolidation of this annual reference meeting. The forum will be held on October 9 and 10 at Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga.
The general secretary of CEA, Luis Fernández-Palacios; the director of Strategic Investments of the Agency of Innovation and Development of Andalusia (IDEA), Fernando Ferrero, and the president of the Organizing Committee of S-MOVING, Smart, Autonomous and Unmanned Vehicles Forum, Antonio Gómez-Guillamón, presented the contents of the second edition of this meeting organized jointly with the City of Malaga and the Agency for Innovation and Development of Andalusia IDEA.
From the point of view of business, the secretary general of CEA has explained that "companies will be able to propose answers and solutions through innovative technologies to some of the challenges of society", while specifying that The forum "will allow to generate alliances between companies and exchange experiences", which will allow companies in the sector "to establish agreements that allow them to be in a position to compete."
Likewise, He highlighted S-MOVING's commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), since this initiative addresses five of them. And in this respect Luis Fernández-Palacios recalled that “from CEA we are equally committed to the promotion and development of the SDGs because its formulation implies recognition to the company of its transforming role of society, so we agree with the organizers of this forum in betting on sustainability ”.
For its part, Gómez-Guillamón has invited companies and professionals involved in the field of intelligent, autonomous and connected mobility to join a call that has among its objectives "create from Andalusia a brand where to start maturing this type of project" , since "we have the elements of breeding ground, you just have to move them out and energize them", so that "we build the positioning of Andalusia internationally". The president of the Organizing Committee recalled that it is a forum with great potential for "professional networking", designed to identify potential partners in technological development that accompanies the advancement of this type of mobility.
In the same line, Ferrero has pronounced, who has insisted that “from the IDEA Agency we understand, and that is why we are co-organizers, that this event is key for a sector such as autonomous vehicles that is clearly an emerging sector”.
Business opportunities with technology companies
S-MOVING will become a meeting point for entities, professionals, universities and startups, which will have a specific space for bilateral meetings with potential technology partners managed through an online tool where participants will have the possibility to establish synergies, make contacts and explore new business opportunities.
For its part, the exhibition area will house the presentation of innovative tools, products and services. There will also be an area of startups, as well as initiatives and parallel activities aimed at showing pioneering reference projects and promoting investment capture.
As for the content program, the meeting will include the main agenda around the technological development applied to intelligent mobility, connected and sustainable by land, sea and aerospace, as well as its infrastructure. In this way, one of the major issues that the program will host will be mobility as a service or Mobility as a Service (MaaS), a concept that is revolutionizing travel in cities.
Likewise, it will be discussed around future and aerospace mobility, its effect on public transport, on security and current legislation, the development of intelligent infrastructures according to the new models, the application of technology in marine-marine aspects, technologies and autonomous and connected vehicles (5G, lidar or blockchain) or advanced solutions linked to elements such as robotics designed for the connected autonomous vehicle (VAC), among other topics.
The forum is organized by FYCMA together with the City of Malaga and co-organized by the Agency for Innovation and Development of Andalusia IDEA, an agency attached to the Ministry of Economy, Knowledge, Business and University. They participate as Silver Partners Aertec Solutions and the Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA). They act as Bronze Partners Europcar Mobility Group, Renfe and Smart City Cluster.
