From CEOE we want to value the implementation of the ‘Radar COVID’ application by the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, as it will surely be an important tool that will allow more effectively to avoid the growth of new sprouts. Along these lines, we encourage all of society to use this medium in order to reduce the increase in infections.
Looking forward to next September, Spanish businessmen will propose to the rest of the social agents in the field of social dialogue to deepen this project, with the aim that this system has a more developed application within the framework of the company, which helps to protect workers against COVID-19 and also protect economic activity, treating in a localized and effective way any possible outbreak that can be detected. All this while preserving the privacy of users.
At this time, after overcoming the confinement stage, the Spanish economy is in a situation in which it cannot face a resurgence similar to that of March that leads us to a new confinement with the consequent stoppage of activity, since it would have catastrophic and irreversible consequences. For this reason, we call on all public administrations to get involved in this project and we make a new call to responsibility to the whole of society with the confidence that, by sharing the objective of protecting the health of citizens and economic activity, we can continue to advance in the definitive overcoming of this health and economic crisis.
