CEOE also congratulates the different winners of the regional elections that were held yesterday in twelve Autonomous Communities, Ceuta and Melilla. The Spanish businessmen want to offer, from the first moment, their collaboration to the future governments, from the institutional loyalty, the permanent respect to the Constitution and the Crown and by the decided bet for the social dialogue.
CEOE believes that, in the negotiations that will take place between the different political formations after the elections, it is important to prioritize political stability, moderation, legal security and budgetary control. Spanish society must face great challenges and reforms in the future to avoid the intensification of the economic slowdown and to continue generating employment and wealth. The Spanish company emphasizes that, in the next four years, we must make a firm commitment to competitiveness.
Also, the Confederation wants to highlight its commitment to the European Union and the values it represents and insists on asking for "more and better Europe" in the face of future challenges such as the Brexit, challenges such as globalization and potential dangers such as protectionism. The work that will have to face the next European Parliament will be decisive for the future of the Union. Betting on the EU will be essential because it is the area in which a large number of rules that affect the day to day of our companies are decided.
