The CEO of International CEOE, Marta Blanco, participates in Paris at the meeting of the Commerce Committee of the BIAC (Business at OECD), in her capacity as vice president of the same, in which the OECD representatives will report on the work of the Committee of OECD Commerce, the work priorities of the Business at OECD Trade Committee will be set and the “Getting Trade back in track” content that establishes the business priorities of business organizations will be agreed.

In turn, the Deputy Director of CEOE International, Álvaro Schweinfurth, attends the Trade Committee of the OECD on October 23 and 24 in the French capital, for which they will talk about the current and future evolution of trade, various aspects that distort free competition such as harmful industrial subsidies and unfair practices of public companies, and on trade decisions taken at the recent political summits of the G7 and the G20.

Coinciding with the Committee, the OECD Global Trade Forum is held in Paris, whose main objective is to provide an overview of the OECD approach, based on empirical data, to measure government support and offer the opportunity to discuss the growing concern by practices that can distort trade and give rise to poorly balanced rules of the game. High-level political leaders of the OECD and member countries and representatives of the private sector participate in it. The panels will be moderated in Davos style to promote interactive exchange.
