CEOE has convened the first edition of the “Progress Project, Emerging Leaders”, Which is sponsored by Deloitte and has the collaboration of the Women's Institute.
The initiative aims to provide women with high potential with the tools and skills necessary to boost their professional career and assumego in a future positions of high responsibility in organizations. The project is aimed at companies committed to the equality and professional promotion of women. Companies that identify those profiles that wish to support, strengthen and commit to actively follow their development. In addition, they are required to involve their management personnel in the mentoring process that is part of this project.
Progress It is part of the initiatives promoted by CEOE and the Women's Institute to boost female talent within organizations. It seeks to give a boost to equality within a new business culture that emphasizes talent, an initiative that began with the Promote Project, and continues now with Progresa. With both projects, the aim is to support female talent, make it visible and also sensitize companies about the necessary gender balance in decision-making, and turn equality into a key factor in business development and as a fundamental boost in the competitiveness of Business.
The Progresa Project has been presented at CEOE, in an event that has had Natalia Martínez, Project Director; Begoña Suárez, deputy director general for Entrepreneurship, Equality in Business and Collective Bargaining for Women of the Women's Institute; Juan Luis Díez Calleja, Managing Partner of Human Resources at Deloitte; and Mª José de la Maza, academic director at ESADE.
This first edition of Progress Project It has 35 places, 15% of which will be scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded for merits, to the candidates who, after accrediting the minimum requirements, accredit other knowledge or merits, pass the selection process and, after the admission process, obtain the best scores.
