The CEO of CEOE, Antonio Garamendi, and the CEO of Globalia, Juan José Hidalgo, have signed the renewal of the collaboration agreement between both entities, whereby the leading group of the Spanish tourism sector continues to be part of the Confederation. In addition, through this agreement Air Europa will facilitate the mobility of Spanish entrepreneurs worldwide.
In the words of Antonio Garamendi, “it is always good news to renew the confidence that Spanish companies place in CEOE, because together we are stronger and going hand in hand we get synergies that have a positive impact on the economy and, ultimately, on the whole of Spanish society ”.
“The agreement that we have signed with CEOE will help the business organizations of Spain to continue defending, as until now, the future of the Spanish economy. With this pact we contribute our grain of sand to the role of the Confederation, recognized in the Constitution, and that every day is more important ”, stressed, for his part, the CEO of Globalia, Juan José Hidalgo.
Within CEOE, Globalia actively participates in various thematic commissions related to its fields of action to contribute to its analysis, study and monitoring, such as the Tourism, Culture and Sports Commission; European Union; Concessions; International relations; Social Dialogue and Employment; Social Security; Education and formation; Equality and Diversity; Digital Society; and Prosecutor, among others.
Globalia is the first Spanish tourism group, formed by a group of independent companies that compete successfully in their respective sectors, such as Air Europe, Falcon Travelthe tour operator Travelplan, the receptive division Welcome, the hotel chain Be live or the company of handling Groundforce.
