Following the package of additional measures announced by the Council of Ministers in “high transmission areas” of Covid-19, the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM), in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Culture and Sports, has decided to adopt a series of temporary measures in order to guarantee the health of our spectators and users:

• The closure during the next fifteen days of all our scenic spaces in Madrid (National Music Auditorium, the Teatro de la Zarzuela, the Comedy Theater, the María Guerrero Theater and the Valle-Inclán Theater) and, therefore, the cancellation of all the shows of the organism and of private entities organized in these enclosures during those dates.
• The suspension of the teaching activity at the Center for Entertainment Technology (CTE) until March 26 (inclusive).
• The suspension of the sale of tickets through all our channels (online, telephone and ticket offices) of the shows scheduled from March 11 to 26 (both inclusive). The performances and concerts planned from March 26 continue on sale as of today.
• The phased refund of the price of the localities affected by said cancellations. In the case of tickets purchased online, the refund will be made automatically the day after the date scheduled for the show. On the other hand, those locations purchased by telephone or at the ticket office, will be returned from March 26 and until June 30, 2020 at the box office of the premises where the suspended activity was held.

The adoption of these measures is subject to the evolution of this extraordinary situation and is likely to be suspended or modified according to the guidelines of the health authorities.
