The first deputy secretary of the party and the regional leader, Toni Cantó, hold the first meeting of the new Autonomous Committee in Valencia

“Ciudadanos is the Valencian Community is an example. It is showing that it is useful and is doing a great job holding hands, making proposals and, at the same time, being demanding and critical of the Government ”. This is how the first deputy secretary of Citizens (Cs), Carlos Cuadrado, spoke at a press conference after the first meeting of the new Autonomous Committee in Valencia, together with the party coordinator, Toni Cantó.

Cuadrado explained that "the affiliates are the center of the party" and stressed that "Ciudadanos is a center party", which "has collaborated in the reconstruction pacts because it has understood that it is time to work, although being critical of the policies we don't like ”. “Society would not forgive us for throwing things at our heads; the citizens have done extraordinary things and it cannot be that the political parties cannot sit down to negotiate and reach agreements with the objective that the budgets are as orange as possible ”.

For his part, the regional coordinator, Toni Cantó, has advocated "working to encourage membership" and, regarding the meeting held yesterday with the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, he stressed that he is "satisfied" because "Puig received the five proposals from Ciudadanos in a very positive way ”.

In this sense, the leader of Cs in the Valencian Community has recalled the five axes of Citizens for budgets, which include “expanding the places for doctors and nurses to 8,000, carrying out public-private collaboration to increase the places of residences, increase aid for the self-employed, improve English learning, not raise taxes and carry out an audit to see what is missing and what is left over in the Administration ”.
