Detained for the second time after having escaped confinement 16 times

He was intercepted in a verification device, traveling on board a vehicle in the company of another person and with drugs hidden in his socks

The Judicial Authority decreed his admission to prison communicated and without bail

The Civil Guard has detained a person in La Rioja for a crime of serious disobedience after breaking the rules established by the state of alarm for the sixteenth time.

This is a 41-year-old man with an extensive criminal history, a natural man and a neighbor of Logroño, who was already arrested on April 4 for serious disobedience, and who has been denounced 16 times since the start of the state of alarm by agents of the Civil Guard, National Police, Local Police of Logroño and Lardero.

The action was carried out within the citizen mobility control devices established under Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, declaring the state of alarm for the management of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19.

He was intercepted in the Rioja town of Villamediana de Iregua when he was traveling aboard a vehicle accompanied by a woman and with drugs hidden in his socks, once again not complying with the restrictions imposed on mobility without just cause, so due to the intentionality of his conduct and the multiple repetitions of it -16 times since the state of alarm was established-he was arrested and transferred to official offices for the investigation of the proceedings. Once the detainee was finished, he was placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority, which ordered provisional, communicated and bailless bail. The woman who accompanied him has been denounced for breaching Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14.
