Dismantled a criminal group dedicated to drug trafficking between the Netherlands and Spain and that operated throughout the national territory
15 people have been arrested in the Balearic Islands, Madrid and Toledo during the last phase of the operation, in addition to another 33 arrested in previous phases
One of the detainees worked in criminal environments linked to collection offices or account adjustments, proving his intention to "catch a man", facts that finally did not materialize when he felt observed by the agents

Civil Guard agents, in a joint operation with the National Police, have dismantled a criminal organization made up of individuals of Colombian origin and allegedly dedicated to drug trafficking. A total of 15 people have been arrested, adding to 33 other arrests made in earlier phases of the same investigation.
Those steps allowed to prove the existence of a branch dedicated to the illicit traffic of vehicles, which gave rise to a procedure carried out for crimes of documentary falsification and against property, and which was dismantled in a first phase of exploitation that resulted in the arrest of 19 people and the intervention of a firearm, 63 high-end vehicles, eight diagnostic teams with which they modified the data of the stolen vehicles, 45 pairs of license plates, technical sheets and manipulated circulation permits, in addition of material to carry out the thefts: radio frequency detectors and machinery to force bowlers, among others. For all this, we had the collaboration of Europol and the police of countries such as Romania, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France and Portugal.
On the other hand, a separate piece was started for the crimes of drug trafficking and money laundering. Subsequently, the partial operational exploitation of the next phase was carried out, culminating in the arrest of 14 of those investigated, settled in the Balearic Islands.
From the Netherlands they supplied narcotic substances to Spain
The line of investigation developed for the crime of drug trafficking made it possible to detect, at the beginning of this year, that the organization established in Palma de Mallorca had a branch based in the province of Madrid, dedicated to drug trafficking, presumably cocaine, and Whose leaders would, in turn, have contacts in the Netherlands, from where they would be supplied with narcotic substance destined for the peninsula and the islands. With this information, the operational exploitation of the last phase of the operation was carried out, with the arrest of the members of the network based in Madrid.
One of them had revealed himself as one of the most prominent figures of the organization based in Madrid, confirming that there were several interlocutors who gave him news of the criminal activities they carried out. The investigation of this branch had its origin after identifying that, his then lieutenant, had been a "victim" of an alleged "overturn" in the Netherlands.
On the other hand, this last individual, in addition to the drug trafficking activities that he had been developing, also worked in criminal environments linked to collection offices or account adjustments, and his intention to "catch a man" was proven. that finally did not materialize, in all probability, when he felt observed by the investigators, which would have frustrated the unforeseen and irreparable consequences for the possible victims.
The cocaine distribution activity was also confirmed, at a lower level, carried out by a couple who was in charge of a clandestine laboratory for adulteration and cutting of cocaine hydrochloride, dismantled with the entries and the records carried out. It was also possible to prove the participation in this drug trafficking of his partner and right hand man.
Finally, the last phase of the investigation made it possible to dismantle a distribution point in the Madrid town of Torrejón de Ardoz, in charge of another of the detainees, who regularly traveled to the Netherlands as the person from the organization that had the necessary contacts and suppliers in that country to carry out drug trafficking activities.

In addition, it would currently be dealing with the medium and small-scale sale of narcotic substance from the dismantled point in Torrejón de Ardoz, for which it used a network of VTC vehicles that it used for the distribution of a notable list of drugs, such as pink cocaine, MDMA, crystal, ketamine, viagras or marijuana, among others, in order to somehow overcome the mobility restrictions caused by the pandemic.
With all these efforts, several domiciliary searches were carried out in the Madrid towns of Leganés, Torrejón de Ardoz and Madrid, and in the Toledo municipality of Illescas, which added to those carried out in the previous phases, turned out to be 35 distributed in eight provinces different (Alicante, Badajoz, Baleares, Córdoba, La Coruña, Madrid, Toledo and Valencia), culminating in the arrest of 15 people, one of them in Palma de Mallorca, in addition to the 14 arrests previously made on the island in relation to to the branch detected in the Balearic Islands, and to the 19 arrests made throughout the peninsula in relation to the network dedicated to illicit vehicle traffic. Previously, dozens of real estate properties and companies that made up the criminal network had also been blocked. With these 15 arrests carried out during this last phase, the arrests add up to a total of 48.
Large amounts of cocaine, ketamine, marijuana, amphetamines, rock MDMA, pink "2CB" cocaine, press, plates and tools for cutting, transformation and adulteration of the narcotic substance, as well as a vehicle, have been intervened.
