30 people have been detained and 2 investigated, who are accused of the crimes of robbery with force, drug trafficking, reception, illegal possession of weapons, theft of vehicles, damages, disobedience and membership of a criminal organization.

There have been 8 records in which numerous effects from the robberies have been intervened, 3,000 euros in cash, 28 grams of cocaine and heroin, 2 homemade firearms among other effects

The organization took extreme security measures, using gloves and masks to avoid identification.

Agents of the Civil Guard and the National Police, in the framework of the joint operation "Chivo-Balo" carried out in the provinces of Malaga and Seville, have arrested 30 people and 2 others have been investigated as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of robbery with force, drug trafficking, reception, illicit possession of weapons, theft of vehicles, damages, disobedience and membership of a criminal organization. The operation has been carried out in the Malaga towns of Mollina, Alameda, Humilladero, Fuente de Piedra and Antequera and in Estepa (Seville).

With these arrests, an organized group specialized in committing robberies with force in rural areas of the Comarca de Antequera can be considered disarticulated.

Eight records have been made in which two artisanal firearms have been intervened, a carbine, various ammunition, numerous household appliances, furniture, a large number of agricultural effects, tools, jewelry, € 3,000 in cash, 24 grams of cocaine, 4 grams of heroin already prepared for sale, several marijuana plants as well as various tools for the production of drugs and two vehicles.

The investigation originates from several robberies that had occurred in farmhouses and implement houses in the area, their modus operandi being very similar, mainly stealing furniture and tools for use in construction, among other effects.

Investigators from both police forces identified several people who daily made numerous trips between Malaga and the town of Estepa (Seville) to a house that was used for the sale of narcotic drugs. The agents verified that it was a perfectly structured organization, whose leaders were building two houses in the town of Estepa and, depending on the needs of work or furniture to condition the houses, they commissioned two people they trusted and residents of the province objects to be removed from Malaga.

These objects were stolen by people with serious drug addiction problems, to whom they offered doses of Speedball (a mixture of cocaine and heroin) in exchange for these effects.

Modus operandi

After the arrest last February of one of the leaders of the organization, the rest of the components of this criminal group began to use three other houses also in the town of Estepa (Seville), which were guarded by third parties with the intention to hinder the police investigation.

Each one of the houses had a specific function, one of them used for the collection of stolen objects, another for the payment of the drug in advance and another in which the drug was delivered.

Despite the situation of confinement due to the state of alarm, this organization has remained active, attributing at least 36 crimes against heritage in the Antequera region.
