The Civil Guard, within the framework of the PERLA operation, has broken up a criminal network that introduced migrants and large numbers of hashish on the coasts of Andalusia from Ceuta through powerful vessels.

89 people have been arrested and 39 others investigated in the provinces of Cádiz, Málaga and Ceuta for the alleged crimes of drug trafficking, belonging to a criminal organization, against the rights of foreign citizens, contraband, theft and theft of motor vehicle use , documentary falsity and illegal possession of weapons.
The operation began after knowing that an important organization could be introducing large numbers of hashish and numerous migrants on the coasts of Andalusia.
During the investigation the agents verify that the network introduced migrants and hashish in semi-rigid vessels. These boats are very fast and only have safety measures for the crew, with seats with bars and seat belts to avoid injuries.
The migrants were sitting on the floor of the boat devoid of lifejackets and lacking other safety measures, such as grab bars, lights, etc., so they put these people's lives at risk, and more taking into account count the speed of rubber bands and that these organizations take advantage of the storms to carry out their illegal activities.
These transports sometimes departed in broad daylight from Ceuta and also reached the coast of Andalusia with daylight, which caused some social alertness in the population. This social alert was increased with the videos that one of the members of the group uploaded to the network, which presumed to leave their illegal activity unpunished.
On the other hand, the agents have found out that the migrants paid about 5,000 euros per “ticket”, and that when they arrived on the Peninsula they picked them up in cars, in order to ensure that their relatives paid the money previously agreed with the organization.
Both the introduction of migrants and hashish shelters were carried out to the coast of Cádiz and Málaga. For this they had known as "points", people who are responsible for warning of the presence of members of the Security Forces and Bodies before lodging. In addition, they had a sophisticated radar system deployed on the Costa del Sol, located on high floors of apartment blocks, to control the traffic of the Security Forces and Corps vessels and guarantee success.
During the time that the investigation lasts, the Civil Guard had evidence that in 11 entries of migrants 269 people would have reached the Andalusian coast, and a merchandise that reaches 10,700 kilos of hashish.
In the different records made, more than 10 tons of hashish have been apprehended and 26 vessels have been seized 29 vehicles -3 of them previously stolen-, as well as 250,000 euros in cash, 12 firearms -four short and eight simulated-, 2,300 liters of fuel, and telecommunications and surveillance equipment, inhibitors, satellite phones, radar …
