He assures that "we need tests at all airports and accesses to restore the free movement of people without additional barriers and always protecting everyone's health"

The PP spokesperson in the European Parliament, Dolors Montserrat, has called today for more coordination in the measures of the European Union countries against the coronavirus to give confidence to citizens and that mobility between member countries is not restricted.
During the debate in the Plenary of the European Parliament on this matter, in which the European Commission and the Council of the EU participated, Dolors Montserrat regretted that “far from uniting to defeat the virus, we have suffered as each member state adopts restrictions to the free movement of people and goods, without coordination between all countries or with the European Union ”.
"This lack of harmonization causes chaos, uncertainty and misinformation in European citizens, fragments the internal market, and blocks the Schengen area," Montserrat warned.
For this reason, the popular spokesperson stressed that it is necessary for the European Commission and the Council of the EU to “urgently and effectively establish harmonized measures that rebuild trust between the member states and European citizens; that he European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) it is the one that provides the official data on infected, deceased, and mapping, and the one that establishes the same health criteria for all member states, based on zones or regions and not on entire countries ”.
In addition, Dolors Montserrat has ensured that "we need tests at all airports and accesses to restore the free movement of people without additional barriers and safely".
"It is essential for everyone – citizens and companies – that people and goods can move freely and safely throughout the European Union," summarized the popular spokesperson.
