Felix Brych will referee Manchester City-Real Madrid

It will be the tenth time that the German referee has led a Real Madrid match in the Champions League.

Felix Brych will referee the match between Manchester City and Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium, corresponding to the return of the round of 16 of the Champions League (Friday, 9:00 p.m., Movistar Champions League). The German will direct for the tenth time a meeting of the Madrid team in this competition. The last one took place last season, on the round of 16 return against Ajax in the Santiago Bernabeu.

Its debut was in the 2009/10 academic year, at 1-1 against Milan in San Siro in the Group Stage. In 2010/11, he officiated 4-0 against Tottenham in the quarterfinals, while in the 2011/12 edition, in the same round, he was the collegiate triumph against APOEL (0-3). In 2012/13, he led 1-1 against Manchester United at home in the second round; in 2013/14, the victory in Copenhagen in the Group Stage (0-2); and in 2014/15, the 1-0 victory against Atlético in the quarterfinals.

Cardiff Final

The German refereed the final of the Champions 2016/17, in which the Real Madrid achieved the Twelfth against Juventus. The penultimate match that whistled the madridistas was the return of the knockout stages of the 2017/18 Champions League against PSG in the Parque de los Príncipes (1-2).
