The Spanish Federation of Food and Beverage Industries, FIAB, and the Complutense University of Madrid have reinforced the existing collaboration in the field of Food Security training, signing a Framework Agreement for the development of projects and activities of teaching, research and university extension.
Thus, and after the signing of this Agreement, FIAB and the UCM may also collaborate in the organization of courses and workshops of Gastronomy and Nutrition aimed at students of the University of Pharmacy, Nutrition and Food Technology degrees.
In addition, the agreement will allow the celebration of dissemination events that give an integral vision of food -health, pleasure and culture-, thus collaborating in the food training of the population as a determinant of their health and quality of life.
The Agreement will also facilitate the joint development of scientific and dissemination publications and mutual advice on issues related to healthy eating.
