The national deputy of VOX for Asturias, José María Figaredo, has registered in Congress a document in which he asks the Government of Sánchez about the support measures for the higher architects and for the Professional Associations of Asturias. Figaredo explains that "the collateral damages of the coronavirus are being suffered by all sectors of society as a whole, although for the moment, and through the decrees launched by the Government, various aid measures are going to be able to reach some people to be able to do facing these moments of paralysis ”.

However, the VOX deputy for Asturias warns that "different professional unions are denouncing that their sector is currently in a situation of helplessness on the part of the Government of Spain. The measures approved so far become insufficient since they do not take into account those self-employed workers who are listed in private social welfare mutual societies, who have also seen their economic capacity diminished in the same way that workers covered by the Special Social Security Regime ”.

“A fact that undoubtedly – continues Figaredo – has not been foreseen by the Government and which also deserves protection and attention due to its importance in our society.

In this situation, the superior architects of the province of Asturias denounce that the union has to continue paying these obligatory expenses for the exercise of their profession, finding their activity limited, not being able to exercise their profession in normal conditions and without receiving any type of It helps because its function is outside the scope of aid that the government is providing. ”

In this situation, the questions that VOX has posed to the Government are the following:

1.- Is the Government going to articulate economic support measures for superior architects and / or for professional associations in the province of Asturias?

2.- Does the Government intend to adopt any solution for collegiate superior architects in the province of Asturias subject to alternative regimes that support the payment of Mutual Societies (Brotherhood of Superior Architects) and collegial fees? Can the exemption, suspension or deferment of payment be established in any way?
