For the first time a delegation of the Civil Guard participates in the parade of the CCIX Anniversary of the Beginning of the Mexican Independence Movement
The Delegation is made up of a unit of 25 civil guards who will escort the Flag of Spain
For the first time, a delegation of the Civil Guard composed of 25 agents who have studied at the College of Young Guards "Duke of Ahumada" in Valdemoro (Madrid), will participate today in Mexico City in the parade of the CCIX Anniversary of the Beginning of Independence.
The 25 civil guards will escort the National Flag belonging to the College of Young Guard "Duke of Smoked."
The act that will take place at 12'00 local time in Mexico City (19'00 Spanish time), will consist of a military stop and parade, in which delegations from other countries will participate, including Argentina, Chile, Poland, Portugal and Italy
This participation was made possible after the invitation received by the Director General of the Civil Guard, Félix Azón, from the General Secretary of the National Defense of Mexico, Luis Crescencio Sandoval, in which he requested the possible participation of a Civil Guard Unit in the military parade on the occasion of the celebration of the "CCIX Anniversary of the Beginning of the Mexican Independence Movement".
This participation meets the cooperation objectives established in the Agreement between the United States of Mexico and the Kingdom of Spain, with the aim of fostering twinning ties with the State of Mexico.
