During this week, the students of the socio-sports schools of the Real Madrid Foundation in Ukraine they celebrate Christmas together. After playing a tournament, all the beneficiaries receive a gift and participate in a play with the theme of St. Nicholas. These are festive days in which family members, coaches, volunteers and the directors of the school participate.

In addition, for a month, students of the Ternopil social sports school enjoy a new installation thanks to the support of the project partner, the company Epicentr K. It is an artificial grass field that has a good lighting system and High quality bleachers, so that the beneficiaries can enjoy and train all year round, despite the hard Ukrainian winter. Sports infrastructures that are also transferred to public schools for use by students from a very disadvantaged neighborhood.

More than 350 beneficiaries

The Real Madrid Foundation develops socio-sports schools with the support of Epicentr for Children in the city of Irpin (Kyiv region) and the Khmelnitskiy region. These schools serve 355 boys and girls between 6 and 17 years old, from vulnerable families. In addition to soccer and basketball training, students have complementary training activities for school reinforcement, foreign languages, cultural visits, etc.
