Grande-Marlaska asks to join efforts to promote together an "authentic" culture of cybersecurity
The Minister of the Interior in functions has presented today in Madrid the 1st National Interuniversity League of challenges in Cyberspace, organized by the Civil Guard
Participants will have to test their technical and legal knowledge and communication skills to face a possible cyber challenge
Registration for this first edition is now open and the competition will be held next autumn at the 15 Spanish public universities that have offered their venues to develop the qualifying phase
The acting Interior Minister, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, has presented today in Madrid the 1st National Inter-University League of challenges in Cyberspace (National Cyberleague), organized by the Civil Guard. This presentation was attended by the Secretary of State for Security, Ana Botella; the Secretary of State for Technological Advancement, Francisco Polo; and the general director of the Civil Guard, Felix Azón, among others.
Security and education against cybercrime
The National Cyberleague has the collaboration of relevant companies and will be developed in the university and institutes where Higher Degree Training Cycles are taught, with the aim of promoting a better understanding of the implications of a cyber-incident and the methodologies of resolution .
