The Official State Gazette today publishes the Extract from the Order of April 30, 2020 by which the granting of the subsidies set forth in Royal Decree 1055/2014, of December 12, is convened, creating a mechanism for compensation of indirect greenhouse gas emissions costs, corresponding to the year 2019.
Commercial companies in the private sector, whether or not included in the emissions trading regime, whatever their legal form, who are validly constituted at the time of submitting the application, who carry out one or more activities in the sectors or produce the products listed in Annex II to the Guidelines on certain State aid measures in the context of the greenhouse gas emission allowance trading scheme, under the NACE codes set out therein.
The maximum amount of aid – which will take the form of a subsidy – will be 6 million euros.
Applications may be submitted at the electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism. The term opens on June 1.
