The acting Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, has highlighted the exporting vocation of the Spanish dairy sector, its initiative to offer products with greater added value and its commitment to a balanced diet, contributing to the improvement of health and nutrition of society.
Luis Planas has participated in the commemoration of International Dairy Day, organized by the National Federation of Dairy Industries (FeNIL), where he highlighted that the dairy sector is an excellent example of things that are done well within the Spanish agri-food system to offer high quality products.
The minister recalled that this sector has experienced difficult situations in recent years, but has made evident progress in adapting to the challenges of the market.
