March arrives at the National Dramatic Center loaded with Italian accent. This next month offers two appointments with the cycle "A look at the world", thanks to which we can, on the one hand, meet new voices of Italian dramaturgy, and on the other, see the first Italian production of the acclaimed international company Cheek by Jowl The collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Madrid gives us both opportunities.

From March 11 to 14, the company led by Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod, which is already a regular in the international programming of the CDN, visits us again with its first production in Italian. The Revenger’s Tragedy It is a piece by Thomas Middleton, an English playwright from the time of Shakespeare, which Declan Donellan wanted to put together because "he tells stories that seem very modern." Intrigue, corruption, lust, narcissism and desire to be able to collide and form a very contemporary Italian court of the 17th century.

The work produced by the Piccolo Teatro de Milan in collaboration with Cheek by Jowl, and staged by a charismatic cast of Italian performers, has been acclaimed on its tour throughout Italy during the 2018-2019 season. The Revenger’s Tragedy It can be seen at the Valle-Inclán Theater from March 11 to 14. More information: https://bit.ly/2TeXjfz
