The GPP spokesman says that this initiative aims to "bring to light Sánchez's voice, which remains hidden"
The spokesman of the Popular Parliamentary Group in the Senate, Javier Maroto, announced today that the first political initiative that will be presented by the Popular Party as soon as the Cortes is constituted, will be the petition of extraordinary appearance by Pedro Sánchez to explain the case of the ERE
“The ERE is the biggest case of political corruption in the history of Spain and the European Union. The PSOE is the party that carries the greatest case of corruption and it is a shame for the Spaniards that the president of the Government is also the general secretary of the PSOE of the ERE, of the party that steals the money from the unemployed, ”said the spokesman of the GPP.
Maroto has affirmed that Mr. Sánchez "must give explanations about the involvement of three of his ministers" (Montero, Calvo and Planas), and that they were then advisors of the Junta de Andalucía in the governments of Chaves and Griñán.
In addition, the PP spokesman said that this initiative aims to bring to light the hidden voice of Sanchez. "Sanchez remains silent despite the seriousness of the ERE ruling," he said.
Likewise, Maroto stressed that the current Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, was responsible for the accounts of the Socialist Government of the Junta de Andalucía. "It is striking and has a special look that, who signed the accounts of the Junta de Andalucía and kept the accounts of the ERE, is the same person that Sanchez has chosen to keep the accounts of all Spaniards."

On the other hand, Maroto has referred to the repetition of the general elections and has described Sanchez's "grave error" as a mere "personal whim" by obtaining fewer deputies in Congress and losing the absolute majority in the Upper House.
“Sanchez’s big hit comes in the Senate. For the first time in a long time the party that is in the Government does not have an absolute majority in the Senate, ”he stressed.
In this sense, Maroto has indicated that his political formation will make a “firm opposition” to the Socialist Government and has remarked that on this occasion the Senate will be the “counterweight” to the Sanchez Executive.
Finally, the spokesman of the popular in the Senate has assured that his party did not want the electoral repetition and recalled that Pablo Casado offered the alternative of Spain Suma. "If the right center votes separately, Sanchez wins and stays."
