On December 18, the president of CEOE Internacional participated in the ICEX Strategic Orientation Council, which was attended by the Secretary of State for Commerce, Xiana Méndez, and the CEO of ICEX, María Peña.
The ICEX Strategic Orientation Council, organized by the Secretary of State for Trade, aims to bring together the main agents of the internationalization of the Spanish economy, both by the public and private sectors, to try to promote the exit abroad of the Spanish business fabric.
During the meeting, the European funds for economic recovery were discussed and the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan was presented, in its internationalization section. In addition, the Shock Plan against COVID-19 was analyzed in support of internationalization and the axes of the Action Plan for Internationalization 2021-2022 were defined.
