The deputy affirms that he does not understand 'the resistance of the PSC to park the differences in the current context of violence banalization'.
"His government will only generate more confrontation and violence and will not solve the real problems of the Catalans." This has been said by the Deputy Spokesman of Citizens (Cs) in the Parliament of Catalonia, Nacho Martín Blanco, to the President of the Generalitat, Quim Torra, in the debate on the motion of censure against Torra presented by Cs. Martín Blanco has affirmed that Torra “can try to prolong the agony, but his government is exhausted” and has indicated that the president “moves away from the common good for all Catalans” and that for that reason it is a “moral imperative to present a motion of censorship".
The orange spokesman has pointed out that it caused him “deep sadness” to see Torra shout “freedom” “to some accused of terrorism” and has considered it “inconceivable that the maximum representative of an Autonomous Community supports some people who, according to a judge of the National Court, intended to attempt against the interests of Catalonia ”. "This Government puts Catalonia's self-government at risk," it has ruled and recalled that "respect for the laws, the Statute and the Constitution is the basis of our rule of law."
Martín Blanco has affirmed that he does not understand “the resistance of the PSC to park the differences in the current context of banalization of violence” in the face of his refusal to support a motion of censure “that is for coexistence, harmony and freedom”. "For years, separatism has tried to create a climate of confrontation with Spain," he explained and recalled that this has led "to a division in Catalan society that demands a high level of vision to solve." Finally, he pointed out that “Catalonia is much more than nationalism, it is a varied and complex society” and has affirmed that “all people want is to live in freedom, as in any other democracy”.
