The orange deputy defends Cs's proposal for a 'smart confinement' with mobility restrictions, aid to the affected sectors and an 'accelerated vaccination program'
"The PSC is more concerned with saving 'Operation Illa' than with managing the pandemic." This has been said by the deputy of Citizens (Cs) in the Parliament, Nacho Martín Blanco, in an attention to the media, accompanied by number 2 by Cs in Barcelona, Anna Grau, after the socialists have been the only one party opposed to postponing the Catalan elections to May 30. "The PSC has a partisan calculation" and is not based on the "sanitary criteria" he lamented when "the main thing is the health of the people."
The orange deputy has also defended Cs's proposal for an “intelligent confinement” with mobility restrictions, but with aid to the most affected sectors and an “accelerated vaccination program” that was presented yesterday by the president of Cs, Inés Arrimadas, at the Congress of Deputies. Precisely, Martín Blanco has criticized that the Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, only shows his concern about the situation of the pandemic with "soaring contagion rates" and does not present measures. “We ask for leadership and that you take initiatives”, he declared.
