Eduardo Belltall, member of the National Association of Reunited Circuses of Spain, has met with deputies of the VOX Parliamentary Group in the Valencian Courts to convey the serious economic situation that the sector is going through due to the mismanagement that the Government of Spain is doing of the coronavirus crisis.
On the part of VOX, the following participated in the working meeting: Jose Maria Llanos, President and Deputy Speaker of the parliamentary group and the deputies Llanos Massó, Ana María Cerdán, Ángeles Criado and Miriam Turiel.
Belltall has informed the VOX deputies that 10,000 artists in the sector have been left without work and they ask the Government of Pedro Sánchez to “stop fooling people and really help those in need. That they comply and give all the aid they promised in April, which has not yet arrived ”.
Eduardo Belltall has commented to the VOX deputies that "The people who work in the circus do not understand why they have allowed bars, restaurants, shopping centers, cinemas, theaters and a long etcetera to open and we who meet all the necessary requirements do not have the authorization to work."
The deputies have conveyed all their support to the representative of the Asociación de Circos Reunidos de España. “From VOX we are going to support this sector. The Government of Pedro Sánchez and that of the Valencian Community cannot abandon 2,500 families who live from the Circus in Spain and who have been since March without receiving any income, but who maintain their expenses ”, he explained José María Llanos.
