The Alicante deputy Miguel Pascual has accused the Botanist of lying and has voted against reversing the Torrevieja health department because the only thing that the Botanist intends is "continue with your roadmap without caring neither the toilets, nor the patients”.

Pascual has highlighted that Sindicatura de Comptes estimates the savings from private management in Torrevieja at 43 million euros per year and has also pointed to the percentage of user satisfaction, of 85.4%; one of the highest in the Valencian Community.

"The reversion of the entire health system to the public is unsustainable for the public coffers. And that does not mean either improving the care or the precarious conditions of the toilets, or the MIR, or reducing the waiting lists”Pascual stressed.
