The Minister of Economy and Business, Nadia Calviño, has participated in the summit of finance ministers and Governors of Central Banks of the G20, held on July 21 and 22 in Buenos Aires. The minister has intervened in the various plenary sessions organized by the Argentine presidency of the G20 and has taken the opportunity to hold up to nine bilateral meetings.

During these days, Nadia Calviño has reiterated the need for growth to be economically and socially sustainable, while claiming multilateralism as a way to resolve international trade conflicts. The minister has valued the role played by foreign trade so that Spain could emerge from the crisis, and that which will continue to play in improving productivity and wages.

Awaiting a consensual global system, the Minister of Economy and Business has taken advantage of the trip to add her voice to those who claim that national solutions can be taken shortly to ensure a fair tax framework for digital taxation. Thus, Calviño has presented to the rest of those present at the summit the test system known as "Sandbox", which takes its first steps in our country with controlled trials of new technologies for the provision of financial systems.

In addition, the Minister of Economy and Business has explored new ways to cooperate with the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank in its development programs, in two meetings held in Buenos Aires with its presidents. Calviño has also held bilateral meetings with his counterparts in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Canada, Germany and France
