May 20-2019.- Thanks to the police cooperation between the National Police of Spain and the National Police of Colombia -DIJIN-, the leader of a violent "office" of assassins has been arrested. The arrested was located in Medellín (Colombia) just before being operated by a plastic surgeon to have his face operated.
The investigation began in the month of August last year. Agents of the National Police were aware of the presence in Spain of the leader of a violent "office" of assassins who, in addition, was escaped from the Colombian authorities. After several steps, the investigators verified that the fugitive was in the Spanish capital with the intention of expanding his criminal activity to Europe, organizing the creation and settlement of a criminal "branch".
The agents verified that the researcher decided to return to Colombia clandestinely to avoid border control, which he traveled to Ecuador to continue the road trip to Medellín. All this information was transmitted to the Colombian authorities, being located and detained in the capital of Antioquia just before being operated by a plastic surgeon when he tried to operate on his well-known face.
The detainee was one of the top leaders of the criminal organization called "The Collegiate Body The Office" whose main activity was the collection, through violence and extortion, of debts generated by drug trafficking. His past as an officer of the Colombian National Police, he obtained the rank of Subintendente until he was dismissed, gave him experience to camouflage himself and live in hiding.
