The SGAE Foundation launches the second edition of Dance, initiative that aims at the internationalization of contemporary Spanish dance. The sample will be held on days November 22, 23 and 24, 2018 at the Párraga Center in Murcia.

For this reason, the SGAE Foundation opens a public call addressed to:

• All SGAE associate choreographers.
• Spanish contemporary dance companies that do not have any member choreographer from SGAE, use choreographic repertoire registered in SGAE in 100% of their performances. The maximum number of members of the company must be 5 people.

During these days, choreographers and Spanish contemporary dance companies will offer choreographic representations, with a maximum duration of 50 minutes, to the audience, which will include different directors and programmers of European festivals interested in knowing the reality of Spanish dance. In addition, meetings will be organized between festival directors and European dance programmers, invited by Fundación SGAE, and representatives of choreographers and companies. In this edition, the Centro Párraga de Murcia collaborates with the exhibition.

The objectives of this program are: to directly promote the dance of our country, encourage the participation of Spanish dance companies in festivals, promote international tours for SGAE choreographers and promote meetings and the exchange of experiences and knowledge among professionals of the sector (choreographers, artists, representatives, programmers, festival directors, etc.) of our country and the rest of Europe.

The deadline for submitting applications ends on September 10, 2018.
