Pablo Casado se reúne con la Asociación de Víctimas del Terrorismo


The president of the Popular Party, Pablo Casado, has held a meeting with the president of the Association of Victims of Terrorism, Maite Araluce, who has been accompanied by the director of this entity, Miguel Folguera, and the lawyer of the AVT, Carmen Ladrón from Guevara.

This is the first meeting that Casado has held after the Investiture Debate and he wanted it to be precisely with the representatives of the victims of terrorism. In this meeting, the leader of the PP has transferred that his party will continue to present initiatives in defense of the dignity, memory, justice and reparation of the victims.

These initiatives include banning acts of homage to terrorists and supporting modifications to the Law on the Recognition of Comprehensive Protection of Victims of Terrorism. Similarly, they have agreed on the concern for laws passed in the Basque Country and in Navarra called police abuse, which have been appealed to the Constitutional Court by the Popular Party.

Also, Casado has transferred their intention to continue working to build the true story, and not the one that some want to transfer, of what supposed the existence of the terrorist band ETA and the suffering that caused to the Spanish society.
