The national president of the Popular Party, Pablo Casado, has reproached the president of the Government that “the Spaniards do not deserve other elections, but a president better than you; since the inertia ends and also the patience ”.

These statements have been made when he has set the position of the Popular Group in the plenary that is held in the Congress of Deputies, where the popular leader has accused Sánchez of being the president of an Executive “that does not work and pretends that this Parliament does not work ”, as well as pretending“ to give a sense of normality after a year plunging Spain into exceptionality ”.

In the course of his speech, Casado has compared the socialist president with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, "who twists the law to close the Parliament, while you twist the regulation so as not to be accountable to him."

ASK SÁNCHEZ TO SAY THAT SPAIN IS A STATE OF LAW

On the other hand, in reference to the situation that is causing the president of the Generalitat of Catalonia and, especially after his speech yesterday, on the eve of the Day, Casado stressed that today one hundred and 150 PP parliamentarians have signed a column in the daily Le monde in which they have stated that the PP will not tolerate the existence of French parliamentarians who say that there is no rule of law here, ”something the president of the Government should have done.

In this sense, he has indicated that the socialist president should avoid continuing to agree and vote together with JxCat in Barcelona and ERC in Badalona, and be more blunt with Torra, who has once again threatened the rebellion. Thus, he has asked the acting President of the Government if he is willing to pardon the imprisoned politicians if they are finally convicted in the Supreme Court ruling.

MORE STOP AND LESS AFFILIATED TO SOCIAL SECURITY

In relation to the months of socialist government and the absence of effective economic measures, he regretted that the figures make it clear that “with the PSOE the crisis returns”, as can be seen with 54,000 more unemployed; 210,000 Social Security affiliates less in August, "the worst figure of the last decade." Also, in relation to the economy, he has reproached Sánchez that “after spending the whole summer as sandwich man, present 370 measures that would suppose 30,000 million of public expense and 5,000 million of fiscal increase ”.

In this way, he has asked about the financing of these proposals, especially when the debt is at record highs, to which he has pointed out with irony that, perhaps withholding 7,000 million euros of autonomy, which should be to pay the Health , Education and Social Policy.

In addition, in relation to the position that the PSOE is maintaining when carrying out its pacts and alliances, Casado has regretted having to see how the PSOE in Navarra allied with Bildu to go in favor of “an ignominious law of police abuse , in which they equate the executioners with the victims ”, for which he has reproached Sanchez that“ everything is not valid for a handful of votes for the investiture ”.

COMPETITION COMES AFTER EUROPEAN POLICY

In the course of his speech from the tribune of Congress, the popular leader has ironized before Sanchez: “At good times you come to give an account of two European Councils, when you have already licked the wounds of the paperboard you made!”

Thus, he has had to remind him that the European Commission is chaired by the party that won the elections last May, the PPE, while the Council is chaired by a person “who should have received the reservations of Spain for his contemplation with the Catalan independence and for lack of collaboration to extradite Etarras from Belgium ”, something that the Government of Spain has not done in their opinion.

Also, around the appointment of Josep Borrell as High Representative of Foreign Policy of the European Union, he has clarified that from popular ranks, "we will not be as disloyal as you were with Miguel Arias Cañete", as well as noted the possible "complications" in its hearing for his conviction for insider information in Abengoa.

Also around foreign policy, Casado has indicated that the “numerous and expensive” international trips of the socialist president have paid few fruits for Spain, as well as he pointed out that the socialist candidate Timmermans “will have half the skills that Arias' portfolio Cañete ”, whose role in the fight against climate change has been recognized. Regarding this environmental policy, Casado has emphasized that “fighting climate change is not making environmental demagogy that destroys the electro-intensive and motor industry, which chains months of falls in production, export and registration because of irresponsibility of the government".

IMMIGRATION POLICY: “A RIDICLE THAT TRANSFERS BORDERS”

At the same time, Casado recalled that the conclusions of the European Council on immigration have made it clear that in the European Union there should be no illegal immigration, only legal. But, in this respect, “with the Aquarius the called effect was clear and with the Open arms the ridiculous crossed borders ”, referring to the recent actions of the Socialist Government in this section.

According to Casado, the Government “only succeeds when rectifying”, in the sense that it has added that everything they criticized the PP Executive has put into practice: “reinforcement of the fence, rejections or return at the border, repatriation agreements with Morocco and support to the State Security Forces and Bodies.

Regarding the issues he has missed in the debate, the president of the PP believes that the European Council did not talk about Venezuela “because Spain did not demand it”, while the Popular Parliamentary Group and Deputy Leopoldo López led the resolution that relates the horror of the dictatorship "that some group of this House supports and some member of its party continues to sponsor," he concluded.
